Critical Thinking and Media Literacy in the Digital Age
Critical Thinking and Media Literacy (Required)
In today's world, we receive a huge amount of information daily through social media. Therefore, it is essential to develop critical thinking and media literacy.
Media literacy involves being able to analyze the information we see: Who wrote it? Is the source reliable? Is there evidence, or is it just an opinion? Are they trying to manipulate our emotions?
I have learned that not everything we read is true. Fake news spreads very quickly, especially during elections or crises. Practicing English helps me read international sources and compare different points of view.
Developing these skills is important not only for learning English but also for making better decisions in life.
