Why I Read News in English – Current Events and Vocabulary
Throughout my learning process, I've chosen to use my own learning methods.
One of the best ways I've found to improve my English is to read the news in English every day. It helps me learn new vocabulary and understand how the world is changing.
Currently, I follow topics like climate change, technology (especially artificial intelligence), and important events in Latin America. Reading about these topics in English gives me a broader perspective.
For example, last week I read an article about the future of electric cars. I learned words like "sustainable," "emissions," and "renewable energy." It was challenging, but very useful.
I recommend starting with simple websites like BBC Learning English or News in Levels. They have news adapted for English learners.
